Iowa State honors December graduatesAMES, Iowa (January 13, 2020) - More than 2,200 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University. Commencement ceremonies were held Dec. 20 (graduate) and 21 (undergraduate).Jose Rosa, professor of marketing and John and Deborah Ganoe faculty fellow in the Ivy College of Business, spoke at the graduate ceremony.
ECC announces 2019 Fall Term Dean's List
One hundred thirty-six students were named to the Fall 2019 (August to December) Dean's List at Ellsworth Community College. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must have taken 12 or more credit hours during the semester (a full-time class load) and have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average for the Fall 2019 semester (Note: Developmental courses do not count towards GPA.

Benton County Community Foundation Grant Application Available
Grant applications can now be submitted to the Benton County Community Foundation’s 2020 grant cycle. The deadline to submit applications is 11:59 p.m. March 15, 2020. Grants are awarded to projects in the following areas: art and culture, community betterment, education, environment, health, historic preservation and human service. 4th Annual Pink at the Pump® Campaign Raises over $20,000 for Breast Cancer
This October Iowa drivers raised over $20,000 for breast cancer research and support services simply by choosing cleaner-burning Unleaded 88 during the 4th annual Pink at the Pump® campaign, co-sponsored by the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) and Iowa Corn Promotion Board (ICPM). Seventy-four retail stations donated three cents of every gallon of Unleaded 88 sold from Oct.
